Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Step into an advanced imaging environment serving a high-acuity patient population as a CT and CT/PET Technologist. This contract opportunity offers exposure to a wide range of cases in a large, full-service healthcare facility with 492 beds, state-of-the-art equipment, and a supportive multidisciplinary team.
Schedule/Hours:
Weekend rotation: Typically once per month (subject to departmental needs) Holiday coverage: Expected to work one major and one minor seasonal holiday in alignment with facility policy (exact dates not pre-assigned)
On-call:
Voluntary basis
Qualifications & Experience:
Active ARRT certification required; ARRT-CT credential required for CT Techs Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required State license preferred Proficiency in advanced CT procedures including biopsy drainage, trauma protocols, angiograms (required), and stroke perfusion (strongly preferred) Experience with both adult and occasional pediatric patients in inpatient/outpatient settings Prior use of Cerner EMR and GE CT technology preferred
Role Responsibilities:
Conduct CT and PET/CT imaging studies on a diverse patient population, both inpatient and outpatient, including emergency department cases Maintain a 1:1 patient care approach, averaging 4 patients per hour (40 patients per day) Float within the primary radiology department as needed, adapting to different imaging areas Collaborate with a strong clinical team in a Level II Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center environment Participate attentively in a comprehensive orientation process and acclimate to hospital protocols This contract offers an engaging opportunity for imaging professionals seeking to broaden their experience in a dynamic environment, with extensive learning opportunities and support.
