Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract
A CT/PET
technologist with strong imaging skills is needed for a contract assignment located in Wetumpka, AL. This role involves working 3 shifts of 12 hours each, scheduled Friday through Sunday, with no night-before-on-call requirements. This opportunity offers valuable experience in a Level II Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center.
Responsibilities:
Perform CT imaging procedures including biopsies, drainage, trauma scans, angiograms, and stroke perfusion studies. Work with inpatient and outpatient populations, including adults and occasional pediatric cases. Operate GE CT equipment and utilize Cerner EMR for documentation. Collaborate within different areas of the Radiology department as a floating technologist. Adhere to all hospital protocols and complete required orientation sessions.
Qualifications:
Current ARRT certification, including
ARRT-CT. BLS
certification required. State license preferred. Minimum of 2 years of strong experience in CT imaging; first-time travelers with relevant skills are eligible. Previous experience with trauma, angiogram, and stroke perfusion imaging is highly preferred.
Schedule:
3 shifts, 12 hours each (Friday-Sunday). No night-before-on-call (NBO) required. Holiday coverage expectations per hospital policy. Voluntary on-call.
