Job Description

Category Imaging - Radiology Tech Job Type Travel A Radiologic Technologist with expertise in Imaging and X-ray technology is needed for a travel position in Wetumpka, AL. This role focuses on delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging to support patient care within a dynamic healthcare setting. Work three days a week with an emphasis on quality and patient safety.
Schedule:
Saturday to Monday 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM Approximately 75-85% clinical duties
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays following safety protocols. Operate radiologic equipment to produce high-quality images for physician review. Prepare patients for imaging by explaining procedures and ensuring proper positioning. Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control guidelines. Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to ensure accurate diagnostic results. Document procedures and patient information accurately in medical records.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent) Proven experience in diagnostic imaging and X-ray technology Strong knowledge of radiation safety and patient care standards Ability to work independently and efficiently during extended shifts Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
