Job Description

Category Imaging - Radiology Tech Job Type Contract Advance your radiology career in a dynamic healthcare environment with the opportunity to deliver high-quality imaging services. Seeking an experienced professional with proficiency as a Radiologic Technologist/X-ray Tech to join a large, fast-paced department providing care to both adult and occasional pediatric patients.
Schedule/Hours:
12-hour night shifts: Friday-Sunday, 6:30pm-7:00am 36 hours per week Weekend rotation (typically once a month, may vary) Holiday coverage: one major and one minor seasonal holiday per hospital policy Voluntary on-call opportunities
Qualifications:
ARRT certification required BLS certification required At least 1 year of strong, relevant experience (first-time travelers welcome with at least 2 years' experience in required skills) Fluoroscopy experience required Surgical imaging experience required Familiarity with portable, trauma, and diagnostic X-ray procedures O-arm proficiency preferred; DEXA exposure is a plus, not mandatory Comfort utilizing Cerner EMR and working with GE, Siemens, and Carestream imaging equipment
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic radiologic procedures for inpatients, outpatients, and emergency cases Float among different department areas as needed, adapting to varied imaging requirements Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a Level II Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center setting Ensure exceptional patient care and safety standards during imaging procedures Participate in structured orientation: 1-day hospital overview plus 2-3 orientation shifts alongside an experienced technologist Maintain accurate, timely documentation in
