  • Permanent Placement Job Summary PS3G is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented MRI Technologist to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services in an acute care hospital setting in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
This full-time MRI Technologist job supports a fast-paced clinical environment requiring strong technical competency, patient care expertise, and adherence to strict MRI safety standards. The MRI Technologist will perform advanced magnetic resonance imaging procedures while working collaboratively with radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff to support accurate diagnosis and patient-centered care. This role emphasizes image quality, clinical accuracy, patient safety, and multidisciplinary collaboration . Key Responsibilities Perform complex MRI procedures with a strong focus on image quality and diagnostic accuracy Operate MRI equipment in accordance with established clinical protocols and safety guidelines Administer contrast media per physician orders and institutional policies Conduct thorough MRI safety screening and maintain safety compliance at all times Prepare, educate, and position patients to ensure comfort, cooperation, and optimal imaging outcomes Monitor patients during imaging procedures and respond appropriately to patient needs or adverse reactions Accurately document procedures, contrast usage, and relevant clinical information in the medical record Maintain MRI equipment readiness and assist with routine quality control and safety checks Collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff in an acute care setting Perform other duties as assigned to support departmental and patient care needs Required Qualifications Associate's Degree from an accredited imaging program Current ARRT Certification BLS Certification Strong knowledge of MRI procedures, anatomy, and safety standards Excellent attention to detail, communication, and patient care skills Ability to work independently in a fast-paced acute care environment Preferred Qualifications MRI Board Certification strongly preferred Minimum 5 years of MRI experience preferred Prior experience in an acute care or hospital-based MRI setting
Additional Information Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 10:00 AM
