1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with a minimum of 3 years of experience to provide quality imaging services in a hospital setting in Arkansas. Details Hospital-based mammography department Day shifts, 5x8 hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Work performed in the mammography department and potentially on a Mobile Mammography Unit 13-week contract Requirements Graduate of an ARRT-accredited program Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist Current ARRT certification and CPR/BLS required State of Arkansas license required Registered Mammography Technologist (R.M.) credential is a plus Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 100 lbs with proper body mechanics Must be able to stand, walk, bend, squat, and twist for extended periods Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing Must be able to handle critical and highly stressful situations with efficiency and composure 2 supervisor references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration License required if applicable Additional Information Responsible for producing quality diagnostic mammography images to assist radiologists with exams and support continuity of patient care This position is designated as safety sensitive under Arkansas Act 593 governing Medical Marijuana — the facility conducts its own onsite drug screen upon arrival, which includes marijuana; a positive result is an automatic cancellation with no exceptions Candidates should avoid any substances that could result in a positive drug screen upon arrival, including CBD products Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not accepted for this position American Traveler Job ID #
