Category Imaging - Radiology Tech Job Type Travel Step into a rewarding role as a Radiology Technologist, where your imaging expertise supports patient care and accurate diagnoses. Healthcare providers are seeking professionals skilled in various radiology procedures to operate advanced imaging equipment and deliver exceptional service within a dynamic clinical environment.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent) Valid state licensure to practice as a Radiology Tech 1 or more years of recent experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred Proficiency in performing X-rays, fluoroscopy, and other imaging modalities Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols for patients and staff Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Schedule/Hours:
Full-time contract assignment Flexible schedule requirements dependent on department needs
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and position patients for radiologic procedures, ensuring comfort and safety Operate and maintain imaging equipment according to manufacturer specifications Follow provider orders to obtain accurate diagnostic images Monitor equipment and adjust settings for high-quality results with minimal exposure Accurately document procedures and patient information in electronic health records Maintain strict adherence to infection control and privacy regulations Collaborate with physicians and other staff for coordinated patient care
