Contract Radiologic Technologist opportunity in Sun City, AZ (08/03/2026-10/09/2026). This bundled contract includes 50 weekday shifts, typically 06:00 AM-04:30 PM.
Compensation:
$46.20/hr.
Shift overview:
August:
Weekdays beginning Mon 8/3 through Mon 8/31 (see full schedule for specific dates).
September:
Weekday coverage Tue-Fri with select Mondays (including Mon 9/7, 9/14, 9/21, 9/28) and Tue/Wed 9/29-9/30.
October:
Coverage Thu-Fri 10/1-10/2 and Mon-Fri 10/5-10/9.
Minimum qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Active ARRT certification (or equivalent) and state licensure as required. Working knowledge of radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, radiation safety (ALARA), and imaging equipment. Strong communication, patient-care skills, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Key responsibilities:
Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic exams, positioning patients and operating imaging systems safely and efficiently. Verify patient identity and exam orders; maintain accurate patient records and image documentation. Adhere to radiation safety protocols and ALARA principles. Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff; assist in equipment upkeep and basic troubleshooting. Provide clear pre- and post-procedure instructions, ensuring patient comfort and professionalism.
