Job Description

Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Contract A skilled imaging professional with expertise in MRI is needed for an impactful contract role within a dynamic healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality MRI scans while upholding safety standards and providing superior patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate MRI equipment to produce quality diagnostic images as ordered by healthcare providers Ensure strict adherence to all radiology guidelines, safety procedures, and protocols Effectively prepare, position, and inform patients to ensure comfort and understanding of the MRI process Assess imaging results for clarity and accuracy, collaborating with physicians as needed for confirmation Maintain accurate patient records and imaging data within electronic medical records systems Troubleshoot equipment issues and promptly report any malfunctions or safety concerns Maintain adherence to regulatory and infection control policies within the imaging suite
Qualifications:
Current ARRT (MRI) certification or equivalent required Valid state licensure in Radiologic Technology, if applicable Proven experience operating MRI equipment in a healthcare setting Strong interpersonal and communication skills for patient interaction Demonstrable knowledge of imaging safety standards and protocols CPR certification preferred This opportunity provides a collaborative and technologically advanced environment, allowing for meaningful patient interaction and skill development.
