Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Contract Experienced MRI technologists are invited to apply for a contract opportunity in a dynamic hospital setting, specializing in advanced imaging. Schedule/Hours:

12-hour day shifts: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (7:00am-7:30pm) Required on-call: 8 shifts per month (7:00pm-7:00am) On-call response time: 30 minutes

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years' MRI/CT experience Active BLS certification ARRT (R) and ARRT (MR) credentials Valid California Radiologic Technologist license (CRT) Strong familiarity with GE Short Bore software 24x Ability to respond to call within 30 minutes

Preferred Qualifications:

ARRT (CT) certification California Fluoroscopy permit

Key Responsibilities:

Operate MRI equipment, ensuring image quality and patient safety Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to provide timely diagnostic images Prepare patients for procedures, explaining processes and addressing concerns Maintain accurate imaging records and follow facility protocols Assist with CT imaging as needed Uphold strict infection control and safety guidelines in all procedures Participate in required call coverage, responding promptly to urgent imaging needs
