Duties of this position include but are not limited to: Administrative and office tasks such as answering calls, creating patient charts, verifying insurance, and collecting co-pays. Multi-tasking to complete front and back office duties, including customer and company facing duties. Providing compassionate care to multiple patients, daily. Creating a comforting, welcoming environment for all urgent care clinic visitors. Performing limited x-ray procedures to chest, torso, and extremities with digital radiography. Managing and maintaining x-ray rooms and equipment. Xpress Urgent Care is seeking applicants with High School or GED qualifications, California Limited X-ray Certification, as well as Medical Assistant certification from an accredited program. Working knowledge of health insurance and CPR certification is also preferred. Great candidates for this position are able to maintain high levels of patient service and communication and have experience working in urgent care or EMT positions.
