We are seeking an experienced and motivated MRI Technologist to join our friendly, professional, and fast-paced team. Our imaging department operates a 1.5T Siemens MRI system with MedStrat PACS . The MRI Technologist performs high-quality diagnostic MRI examinations according to established protocols, operates imaging equipment safely and efficiently, and prepares examination rooms and supplies to ensure an outstanding patient experience. This position requires a professional individual with excellent communication skills who can effectively interact with patients, physicians, and staff. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently while also collaborating closely with the healthcare team. Schedule This is a per diem position with a flexible schedule limited to:
Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays:
3:00 PM - 7:00
PM Saturdays:
Approximately 2-4 Saturdays per month, typically 6-8 hour shifts Responsibilities Perform outpatient MRI examinations independently and produce high-quality diagnostic images. Ensure patient safety, comfort, and satisfaction throughout the imaging process. Follow established MRI protocols and safety standards. Operate and maintain MRI equipment and associated systems. Prepare imaging rooms, equipment, and supplies for patient examinations. Accurately document patient information and imaging procedures. Communicate effectively with referring physicians, radiologists, patients, and staff. Maintain compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements. Minimum Qualifications Graduate of an accredited MRI or Radiologic Technology program. ARRT(R), ARRT(MR), or ARMRIT certification required. California State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology required. Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association. Ability to independently perform outpatient MRI examinations. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Strong computer skills; experience with EMR systems preferred. Preferred Qualifications Two (2) years of MRI experience following externship completion preferred, but not required. Experience with Siemens MRI systems and PACS environments is a plus.
Pay:
$42.00 - $46.00 per hour
