The Fremont, California-based
XRAY TECH
(X-ray Technologist) role involves providing radiologic imaging services within a hospital setting. The position requires proficiency in both general radiology procedures and working in the operating room environment. Candidates are expected to be flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work shifts that include days and every other weekend. Candidates must bring their valid ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) license and California fluoroscopy license on the first day of work.

Experience:
1 year of radiology experience required
Schedule:
8-hour shifts starting at 8:00 AM, 3:30 PM, and 11:00 AM; 40 hours per week; working days including every other weekend
Additional Information:
Must be flexible and willing to work with department needs. The position involves general imaging of chest, spine, and extremities, with an average number of scans/studies per day. Department-specific equipment includes Phillips, GE, and Carestream systems (fixed and portable). In-house radiologist coverage until 6 pm during the day; external radiology coverage at night. Scrubs are provided in Ceil blue, with hospital-supplied scrubs available. The department operates in an acute care setting with a 24/7 radiologist presence during the day.
Shift and Scheduling Details:
Managed by the department; shifts are scheduled and may include being the only technologist in-house at times.
Additional Notes:
The position requires flexibility, and there is a cancellation policy of 2 shifts per assignment. Charting is done in EPIC; no BSN required.
