Category Imaging - X-ray Job Type Contract Bring your expertise in X-ray imaging to a dynamic healthcare setting, where your technical skills and compassionate patient care will make a meaningful impact. This contract opportunity offers an engaging environment for an experienced X-ray Technologist/Radiologic Technologist to contribute to patient diagnostics and support quality medical outcomes.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent) Valid state licensure as required for radiologic practice Proven experience performing diagnostic X-ray procedures Proficient with digital imaging equipment and radiology software Solid knowledge of radiation safety standards and protocols Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with patients and medical staff Strong attention to accuracy and detail in imaging techniques Commitment to patient confidentiality and comfort
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of X-ray imaging procedures as prescribed by physicians Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging, ensuring safety and comfort Operate digital X-ray equipment and adjust settings for optimal image quality Maintain clear and accurate patient records in accordance with privacy regulations Assist radiologists in analyzing images for diagnosis Monitor imaging equipment for safety and recommend maintenance as needed Educate patients on procedures, addressing questions and concerns Follow infection control and radiation protection procedures consistently This role is ideal for a reliable technologist eager to collaborate within a skilled healthcare team supporting quality patient care.
