Job Description

CT Technologist Extern Acute Hospital Full Time Night Shift mostly 1600-0400, but may vary with shift and days
Salary Range:
$35.70 - $49.21 Pay rates are determined based on experience and internal equity.
Position Summary:
Completed a Radiologic Technology program within the last 6 months. Assists with radiographic and CT procedures and may shadow fluoroscopic exams on inpatients, outpatients, and surgical patients. Must work under the supervision of the Diagnostic Imaging Director and other Radiologic Technologists. Performs duties that assist the Radiologic Technologist or CT Technologist. May start IV's for CT (IV Certificate required), but only shadow during exposure and IV Contrast injection. Transports patients as needed. Assists the Radiologic technologist with patient set up and recording histories in hospital patient records. Scanning documents related to the exam into the exam order. Must work well under stress or tight deadlines. Must work well with supervisors, co-workers, patients/residents, family members and visitors.

Essential Functions:

Position Qualifications:
Education:
Graduation from a state certified radiographic technology program and pass Radiologic Technologists Certification within 6 months of hire.
Experience:
New graduates considered
Certifications:
CRT, Red Cross BLS, Fluoro license and IV therapy certificate within 6 months of hire.
Skills/Ability:
Ability to perform or be trained in the full range of exams performed in department. ​​​​​
