In this role, you will perform diagnostic imaging, assist with patient intake and assessments, and support medical staff for an orthopedic clinic. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will ensure smooth clinic operations while providing compassionate service to diverse patient populations. Duties Prepare patients for X-ray procedures by explaining the process and ensuring proper positioning for accurate imaging. Operate X-ray equipment safely, adhering to radiation safety protocols and maintaining image quality standards. Assist with patient intake, including recording vital signs, updating medical histories, and verifying insurance or demographic information. Support clinical staff with patient forms, and x-ray cd reproduction. Collect and document patient data such as vital signs, medical history. Maintain cleanliness of imaging equipment and clinical areas while ensuring compliance with infection control standards. Provide exceptional patient service by addressing questions, offering reassurance, and ensuring a comfortable experience during outpatient visit. Experience Experience as an X-ray technician or medical assistant in orthopedics is preferred but not required. Passage of American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required; additional certifications in radiology or medical assisting are a plus CDPH limited permit or CRT license.
