Qualifications and Experience:

Current certification as a CT Technologist (ARRT-CT or equivalent required) Valid state license to practice as a Radiologic Technologist Proven experience operating CT imaging equipment in a hospital or clinical environment Strong knowledge of radiation safety standards and best practices Excellent communication and patient interaction skills Ability to perform independently while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred

Responsibilities:

Perform high-quality CT scans as ordered by physicians, ensuring proper patient positioning and technique Accurately identify, document, and report scan results for diagnosis and treatment planning Prepare patients for imaging procedures, clearly explaining processes and addressing concerns Maintain and troubleshoot CT equipment, reporting any malfunctions promptly Uphold all infection control, safety, and privacy regulations while in the imaging suite Communicate effectively with radiologists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals Document procedures and maintain thorough, up-to-date patient records
