Madera M-F 8-5 $40.00 per hour Position Summary Hire Up Staffing is seeking a skilled and compassionate Radiologic Technologist to support clinical operations within a fast-paced healthcare environment. This role requires a patient-focused professional who can deliver high-quality imaging services while ensuring patient comfort, safety, and efficient workflow. The Radiologic Technologist works closely with providers and care teams to support accurate diagnosis and continuity of care. Key Responsibilities Patient Care & Imaging Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures as ordered by providers Ensure patient safety by adhering to radiation protection protocols, including shielding and equipment positioning Prepare patients for imaging procedures and provide clear instructions to reduce anxiety and ensure cooperation Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and imaging data in electronic health records (EHR) Develop and process radiographic images while ensuring quality standards Clinical Support Duties Assist with basic clinical procedures including EKGs, accu-checks, specimen collection, and preparation Prepare exam rooms, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and readiness for each patient Provide patient education materials and answer general health-related questions Support patient discharge, scheduling follow-ups, and addressing final concerns Patient Flow & Coordination Promote efficient patient flow using scheduling and tracking systems Collaborate with front office staff, medical assistants, and providers to minimize delays Communicate patient status and any workflow issues to supervisors and care teams Assist across departments or locations as needed Communication & Team Collaboration Maintain clear, professional communication with patients, providers, and staff Participate in daily team huddles and contribute to care planning Demonstrate strong teamwork, flexibility, and initiative in supporting clinic operations Handle patient concerns professionally and escalate issues when appropriate Compliance & Safety Follow all confidentiality and HIPAA guidelines to protect patient information Adhere to infection control protocols, including sterilization and equipment maintenance Maintain logs for diagnostic equipment and report any malfunctions promptly Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and mission Minimum Qualifications Education & Certification High School Diploma or GED required Certification as an X-Ray Technician or equivalent experience required Experience Previous experience in a healthcare or clinical setting preferred Skills & Competencies Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred, but not required Strong interpersonal and communication skills Excellent attention to detail and organizational ability Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with electronic health records and basic computer systems Strong customer service orientation and professionalism Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and push up to 50 pounds (with equipment) Ability to stand, bend, squat, kneel, and reach as needed throughout the workday Adequate vision and hearing to perform clinical duties safely and effectively High level of manual dexterity for clinical procedures Work Schedule & Expectations Must maintain punctuality and adhere to assigned schedule Flexibility to work extended hours or at multiple locations as needed Active participation in trainings, meetings, and organizational initiatives What We Offer Competitive compensation Collaborative and mission-driven work environment Opportunities for professional growth and development #INDHP
