Local Travel Mammography Technologist - Rancho Mirage, CA 13-Week Contract | Weekly Pay Up to $3,450 (Based on Experience) Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is partnering with a premier healthcare facility in Rancho Mirage, California to hire an experienced Local Travel Mammography Technologist for a 13-week contract . This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled imaging professional seeking competitive compensation, stability, and an outstanding Southern California location. Position Overview As a Local Travel Mammography Technologist, you will perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography procedures while ensuring patient comfort, safety, and compliance with regulatory standards. This role is ideal for technologists with strong mammography experience and a patient-centered approach to care. Job Responsibilities Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures in accordance with ARRT and state regulations Operate mammography imaging equipment safely and effectively Ensure accurate patient positioning and optimal image quality Maintain radiation safety standards and infection control protocols Review physician orders and patient histories prior to imaging Provide compassionate patient care and education Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members Maintain accurate documentation and patient records Education Requirements Graduate of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) approved School of Radiologic Technology Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology Licensure and Certification Requirements American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) - Radiology (R) California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license in Radiography and Mammography CRT - Mammography American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS)
