In this vital role, you will perform diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in the evaluation and treatment of patients in an urgent care setting. Responsibilities Perform high-quality X-ray procedures efficiently and accurately for urgent care patients, ensuring clear images for diagnostic evaluation Maintain strict aseptic technique and adhere to safety protocols during all imaging procedures to ensure patient and staff safety Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and staff to provide timely diagnostic information for emergency and urgent cases Prepare and position patients appropriately, explaining procedures clearly to reduce anxiety and ensure cooperation Maintain detailed documentation of imaging procedures, patient information, and technical data in compliance with hospital policies Stay current with advancements in diagnostic radiology techniques and participate in ongoing training to enhance skills Qualifications Proven experience in urgent care or emergency room environments with proficiency in X-ray imaging Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation processes Certification as a radiologic technologist (ARRT or equivalent) required Excellent communication skills for collaborating with medical teams and explaining procedures to patients Join our team where your expertise makes a difference!
