Job Description

Silver Creek Radiology, locally owned and physician operated since opening in 2015, is San Jose's premier imaging center. We provide quality care to all of our patience in a modern and welcoming environment. With an emphasis on customer service and a focus on meeting the needs of the surrounding community. We are seeking a full-time MRI Technologist to perform radiology procedures and produce quality images for the diagnosis, treatment, monitoring and prevention of injury and disease while ensuring the highest patient care. The individual must be a team player with effective communication skills, both verbally and written. Excellent time management and organizational skills are a must. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to join a dynamic team and make a positive impact on patient care. Ability to speak Vietnamese would be a plus. Monday
  • Thursday 7am to 6pm (10 hour shifts)

Qualifications:
ARRT or ARMRIT certified Current BLS/CPR certification Completion of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology Practice MRI Safety and follow safety guidelines Deliver quality customer service in a professional manner. Work effectively to maintain an environment of excellence, which is patient focused, providing timely, compassionate patient care. Promote and maintain a safe work environment for both staff and patients. Comply with HIPAA guidelines to protect patient data privacy. Enter and retrieve patient information and images into PACS system for interpretation by the radiologist in an accurate and timely manner. Practice accurate and timely completion of scheduled work to maximize productivity Exhibits flexibility and adaptability to unique needs of the department and responds appropriately Follows universal precautions, infection control guidelines and sterile technique Ability to speak Vietnamese would be a plus
Skills:
  • Proficient in operating MRI equipment and software
  • Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to MRI scanning
  • Strong communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare professionals
  • Ability to follow protocols and adhere to safety guidelines in performing MRI scans
  • Attention to detail in capturing high-quality images for accurate diagnosis
  • Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot technical issues that may arise during scanning Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
