Setting:
Healthcare facility radiology department Responsibilities Operate x-ray equipment to produce radiographs of designated portions of the body as ordered by physicians. Position and instruct patients prior to examination, ensuring proper alignment and comfort. Adjust x-ray equipment and determine proper exposure factors (voltage, current, exposure time) for each radiograph to achieve diagnostic quality. Verify image quality and safety, applying ALARA principles and maintaining standard imaging protocols. Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records; prepare exam rooms and imaging equipment for subsequent procedures. Requirements Ability to operate radiography equipment and perform diagnostic radiographs according to physician orders. Strong patient communication and positioning skills; focus on patient safety and comfort. Capability to perform imaging in a fast-paced healthcare facility radiology department and follow department protocols. Eligibility to work in the United States for a travel assignment; ability to meet credentialing and state requirements as applicable. Willingness to work 12-hour daytime shifts and complete the 13-week assignment as scheduled.
