About Us We are a patient-centered, privately owned radiology practice that has for over fifty years been committed to delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging in a comfortable and personalized environment. Our team of experienced professionals' values precision, compassion, and efficiency. We're currently seeking a skilled CT Radiology Technologist - Full-time to join our growing practice and help us continue providing exceptional imaging services. Salary range is negotiable depending upon experience level of the candidate. We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our Radiology team. In this role, you will perform high-quality computed tomography (CT) exams according to physician orders, protocols, and regulatory standards. Strong technical skills, patient safety, and excellent communication are essential for success.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Perform diagnostic CT imaging studies, including cross-sectional imaging and multi-planar reconstructions for both diagnostic and interventional purposes Operate CT scanner equipment safely, accurately, and independently Review imaging orders, confirm exam details, and ensure patient readiness prior to scanning Input and verify patient/exam information in DR, PACS, and RIS systems, including referring providers, exam indications, contrast info, DLPs, CTDIvols, and prior relevant studies Obtain and document comprehensive patient histories and enter exam notes for radiologist review Follow protocols for contrast administration and provide patient/staff instructions Perform venipuncture and adhere to extravasation protocols Clean, operate, and maintain CT imaging equipment, including quality control and daily system checks Restore/manage archived studies from affiliated facilities Mentor students and collaborate with staff for smooth workflow and excellent patient care Comply with infection control, radiation safety, and confidentiality policies Qualifications & Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program Current ARRT certification required; advanced CT registry preferred Minimum one (1) year CT experience or specialized training preferred Maintain ARRT and CPR certification Proficiency with CT scanners, 3D workstations, PACS, RIS, and related systems Knowledge of contrast administration, screening, and safety protocols Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Basic computer proficiency Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Ability to operate CT imaging equipment safely and efficiently Follow physician orders, supervisor direction, and departmental protocols Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and coworkers Multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced clinical environment Commitment to quality patient care Work Environment & Physical Requirements Reasonable accommodations may be provided for individuals with disabilities Ability to stand or sit for extended periods, move throughout department, climb stairs, bend, reach, and position patients Lift up to 60 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds frequently Frequent use of hands and arms; close visual acuity required Mental Demands Requires sustained concentration, clinical judgment, attention to detail, and adaptability to changing workflow ConfidentialityMaintaining patient confidentiality is fundamental. Unauthorized disclosure of medical information violates California law and company policy.
