- Are responsible for the performance of mammographic imaging procedures
- Maintain a clean organized and safe environment and perform patient care services that support the physician / providers practice under the supervision of the radiologists other licensed staff and Management
- You will help capture usable diagnostic images from patients so the Radiologist can accurately diagnose and/or rule out different conditions
- Apply a thorough and accurate imaging technique for patient positioning respective to the order
- Assist in preparing patients for Radiologic/Mammography examinations and relay instructions from the radiologist to your patient or authorized person
- Collect patient data documenting patient concerns, patient messages, and care provided to the patient in the patient's medical record for the radiologist's review
Job Requirements Minimum Qualifications:
High School Graduate General Studies Satisfactory completion of a formal AMA school of Radiologic Technology orequivalent to an AMA Technologic program. Completion of 40 hours of structured education in Mammography.Medical Radiographer:
CA Basic Life Support Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills are essential. Demonstrated knowledge of anatomy and physiology for imaging, proper operation of and care of radiology diagnostic equipment, and radiation safety. Medical terminology and familiarity with an electronic practice management system and PACS.Preferred Qualifications:
