$102,065 $152,817 annually Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused Mammography Technologist for a full-time opportunity in Santa Monica, California. The Mammography Technologist will perform high-quality mammographic imaging procedures to support the diagnosis and treatment of breast diseases within a hospital imaging environment. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and compassionate patient care. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with radiologists and imaging teams to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient imaging services. Key Responsibilities Perform mammography imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols Prepare and position patients for breast imaging examinations Operate mammography equipment safely and accurately Ensure high-quality imaging for diagnostic interpretation Maintain patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout procedures Review patient histories and verify physician orders Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records Follow radiation safety and infection control standards Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to support patient care Requirements Current Mammography Technologist certification required Active state licensure as required by California regulations ARRT certification in Mammography preferred or required Prior mammography or diagnostic imaging experience preferred Strong patient care and communication skills Knowledge of imaging procedures, safety standards, and compliance requirements Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment Commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality patient care
