Summary HCEPInc is seeking an experienced Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join a fast-paced acute care imaging department. This position supports a high-volume Emergency Department and inpatient population, performing advanced CT imaging studies while collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams to deliver exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will have experience performing CTA and perfusion studies on GE CT equipment and be comfortable working independently in a busy overnight environment. Essential Functions Perform diagnostic CT examinations for Emergency Department and inpatient populations. Perform advanced CT imaging studies, including CTA and perfusion imaging. Operate GE CT equipment while maintaining high-quality imaging standards. Administer contrast media utilizing venipuncture techniques in accordance with facility protocols. Monitor patients throughout imaging procedures to ensure safety and comfort. Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff to support timely diagnosis and treatment. Maintain accurate patient documentation and comply with departmental quality and safety standards. Ensure adherence to radiation safety practices and regulatory requirements. Practice Setting Acute Care Hospital Emergency Department Inpatient Imaging High-volume CT department utilizing GE imaging equipment Qualifications Current California Radiologic Technologist License required. Current ARRT (R) certification required. Current ARRT (CT) certification required. Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification required. Venipuncture certification required. Minimum experience performing CT imaging in an acute care environment required. Experience with GE CT units required. Experience performing Emergency Department and inpatient CT studies, including CTA and perfusion imaging, required. Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient care skills required.
