Job Description

Category Imaging - X-ray Job Type Contract Step into a vital healthcare role, working alongside a dedicated team to provide essential radiologic services. As an Imaging - X-ray Technologist, you play a crucial part in patient diagnosis and care by performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid state licensure as an X-ray Tech/Radiologic Technologist (ARRT preferred) Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program Proficient in operating x-ray equipment and performing various diagnostic imaging procedures Strong knowledge of safety standards and radiation protection Excellent patient care and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals Previous experience in a healthcare or hospital environment preferred
Schedule/Hours:
Contract position; flexibility regarding shift availability may be preferred based on facility needs
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct x-ray examinations following physician orders and established protocols Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process Maintain accurate records of procedures and assist with patient documentation Adhere strictly to infection control and equipment sterilization procedures Review images for quality and clarity before administering to interpreting providers Respond efficiently and compassionately to patient inquiries and needs Maintain up-to-date knowledge of imaging practices and advancements in radiologic technology
