Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Travel Experience the serene beauty of South Lake Tahoe, CA, while advancing your imaging career as a CT Technologist in a renowned healthcare environment. This role not only offers the chance to work in a stunning resort community surrounded by mountains and lakes but also provides meaningful exposure to diverse clinical practices and the latest imaging technology. South Lake Tahoe is a recreational paradise, promising endless adventure with hiking, skiing, and water activities at your doorstep. Professionally, you'll enhance your skills through collaboration with exceptional clinicians in a dynamic Level III Trauma Center, expanding your competencies and enriching your resume with sought-after experience.
Schedule/Hours:
Flexible shifts available; night shift will focus primarily on emergency department cases
Desired Qualifications:
ARRT (CT) Certification required; California licensure as applicable Demonstrated proficiency with Siemens Perspective 64-slice CT scanner preferred At least one year of recent CT imaging experience in an acute care setting Strong working knowledge of Philips digital X-Ray and GE portable X-Ray is a plus Comfort working with diverse patient populations and all age groups Ability to thrive in high-volume, fast-paced environments
Key Responsibilities:
Perform an average of 40 patient scans daily, independently and collaboratively Deliver high-quality diagnostic images for physicians and nursing staff Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures Maintain detailed, accurate patient records and comply with all regulatory standards Adapt quickly to primarily ED-related cases, especially during night shifts
