Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Travel Experience the stunning beauty of South Lake Tahoe, CA, while advancing your professional skills within a leading healthcare setting. This travel opportunity places you in an idyllic destination known for year-round outdoor adventures—think pristine alpine lakes, picturesque hiking trails, and vibrant local culture. Working in this role means contributing to a busy, dynamic imaging department equipped with cutting-edge technology, including the Siemens Perspective 64-slice CT scanner. Night shifts predominantly focus on emergency department imaging, presenting excellent opportunities to enhance your expertise and broaden your resume. With an average of 40 scans per day, you'll practice in a fast-paced environment that fosters both technical growth and problem-solving skills.
Schedule/Hours:
Night shift Shifts involve primarily ED cases
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Demonstrated expertise in CT imaging, especially using Siemens Perspective or similar systems ARRT (CT) certification strongly preferred Prior experience performing advanced imaging in acute care or trauma environments is considered an asset Ability to work autonomously and adapt quickly in a fast-paced setting Strong communication and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
Perform and document high-quality CT scans, ensuring patient comfort and safety Collaborate with emergency and radiology teams to provide timely, accurate diagnostic images Operate and troubleshoot Siemens Perspective CT, as well as Philips digital x-ray and GE portable x-ray systems as needed Adhere to quality standards, infection control protocols, and patient privacy policies
