1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist with 2+ years of experience and prior travel experience for a 13-week acute care assignment in California. Details Acute care hospital mammography unit Performs tomosynthesis (tomo) mammography studies and assists radiologists with stereotactic biopsy procedures Average of 15 cases per day Uses Merge PACS and Cerner EMR; Cerner experience is required Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Every other weekend (EOW) required First to float when needed Requirements Minimum of 2 years of mammography experience Must have performed at least 200 mammograms within the past 2 years Prior travel experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered Active BLS certification required ARRT (M) - Mammography certification required CRT in Mammography (California) required Active state license required if applicable; pending licenses will not be accepted Active certifications required at time of consideration; pending certifications will not be accepted Cerner EMR experience required Driver's license required for consideration 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, both including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire Additional Information Perform tomosynthesis mammography studies and provide assistance to radiologists during stereotactic biopsy procedures Teal scrubs required 12-hour orientation included Candidates must not have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity Health, within the past year; candidates who worked PRN through outside staffing firms will be considered
