RESPONSIBLE TO

O.R. Supervisor

DEFINITION

To provide radiology services during surgery and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

1.

Experience:

Radiology experience within an operating room environment. 2.

Education:

Must have a current California Department of Health Services, Certified Radiologic Technologist license. Must have a current California Department of Health Services, Radiologic Technologist Fluoroscopy Permit.

DUTIES:

1. Operate radiographic C-Arm x-ray generator. 2. Generate x-ray images as requested by the surgeon or operating physician. 3. Print and print images for review by the radiologist. 4. Maintain x-ray procedure log. 5. Maintain fluoroscopy quality control log. 6. Ensure that the x-ray equipment is used in a safe and appropriate manner.
