Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Operates advanced CT imaging equipment to produce cross-sectional images critical for diagnosing medical conditions in patients across various age groups. This role also involves performing general radiography and fluoroscopy procedures, maintaining equipment, managing imaging records, and ensuring strict patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Key Responsibilities:
Operate CT and other imaging equipment (radiography, fluoroscopy) to obtain diagnostic images Produce and process sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation Use PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images accurately Maintain equipment calibration, conduct routine maintenance, and manage supply inventory Ensure compliance with HIPAA and maintain patient confidentiality Maintain accurate records, files, and billing documentation Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred Registered Radiologic Technologist (R.T.) credential required (ARRT-R or ARRT-CT) Radiologic Tech license required in California Advanced Certification in CT required; Fluoroscopy license and Venipuncture certification preferred Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care effectively

This is a contract position offering meaningful clinical experience in a supportive healthcare setting.
