Category Imaging - X-ray Job Type Contract Exciting opportunity for a dedicated Radiologic Technologist with strong X-ray skills to contribute in a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract role centers on providing high-quality diagnostic imaging as an essential member of a collaborative clinical team.
Key Qualifications:
Current and valid Radiologic Technologist license Demonstrated proficiency in performing digital X-ray procedures Experience with imaging equipment and proper safety protocols Commitment to patient-centered care, ensuring comfort and clear communication throughout procedures Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow established protocols and regulations Strong organizational skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting CPR/BLS certification preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform and process X-ray examinations according to physician orders and facility protocols Prepare and position patients appropriately for procedures, ensuring safety and privacy Maintain accurate records and imaging documentation within the electronic health record system Ensure proper functioning and regular maintenance of imaging equipment Comply with all quality assurance, infection control, and regulatory standards Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other staff members for coordinated patient care Provide clear explanations of procedures to patients and offer reassurance as needed As a vital part of the imaging team, you will have the opportunity to expand your clinical skills in a supportive environment that values professionalism and high standards of care.
