Category Imaging - CT Job Type Travel Imagine gaining hands-on experience in the striking High Desert of Yucca Valley, California—an area famous for its proximity to Joshua Tree National Park, dramatic landscapes, and abundant sunshine. This travel assignment allows you to deepen your expertise in Computed Tomography (CT) imaging while soaking up the unique culture and outdoor adventures this region offers. You'll have the opportunity to work with experienced professionals, navigating various imaging protocols and patient care approaches, all while building an impressive resume that reflects adaptability and a sense of adventure. Collaborating with a diverse healthcare team, you'll broaden your clinical skills and learn from a wide range of workplace practices and leadership styles. Required Qualifications/Experience:
Valid certification in CT imaging (ARRT(CT) preferred) Current state licensure for radiologic technologists (or eligibility) Previous experience performing diagnostic CT exams in a healthcare setting Proficiency operating modern CT equipment and adhering to safety protocols Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Key Responsibilities:
Operate CT imaging equipment to produce diagnostic quality cross-sectional images Prepare and position patients, ensuring safety and comfort Follow physician orders, verify patient identification, and maintain accurate records Adhere to radiation safety standards and infection control protocols Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and multidisciplinary teams
