Job Description

Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Contract Deliver advanced patient care within a dynamic healthcare environment, utilizing your MRI expertise to produce high-quality diagnostic images. This contract role presents an excellent opportunity for skilled imaging professionals to collaborate within a supportive, multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications:
Current certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT-MR preferred) Valid state licensure, if required Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program Demonstrated expertise in operating MRI equipment and performing imaging protocols Knowledge of safety procedures for magnetic imaging environments CPR/BLS certification Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt to fast-paced clinical settings
Schedule/Hours:
Contract position; specific scheduling details to be confirmed with facility
Key Responsibilities:
Operate MRI equipment to accurately capture anatomical and diagnostic images as ordered by physicians Prepare and position patients while ensuring comfort and explaining procedures Adhere to all safety guidelines, including screening patients and staff for contraindications Verify physician orders, update patient records, and collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals Maintain and troubleshoot equipment to ensure peak performance Uphold strict standards of infection control and patient confidentiality Participate in quality assurance initiatives within the imaging department Enjoy an engaging role where your diagnostic expertise directly impacts patient outcomes.
