Nuclear medicine Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer ARRT (N) Certification Safety protocol implementation DEXA scan Full Job Description Magnetic Resonance Safety Officer (MRSO) Boulder Community Health, Boulder, CO 80303 $41.12 - $61.68 an hour 7am - 3:30pm (Monday-Friday) On Call Requirement/Weekends as needed Boulder Community Health is seeking a Magnetic Resonance Safety Officer (MRSO). The MRSO will collaborate closely with the MRI Supervisor and Radiation Safety Officer/Physicist to ensure the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of MRI services. This role is responsible for performing, documenting, and maintaining MRI safety protocols, as well as providing ongoing MRI safety education to MRI personnel and hospital staff. The MRSO supports high-quality patient care, assists with quality improvement initiatives, and contributes to daily workflow coordination within the imaging department. Additional responsibilities include supporting staff training and orientation, assisting with patient scheduling, coordinating clinical information to ensure appropriate imaging, monitoring equipment issues, supporting QA/QC activities, and providing input on staff counseling, hiring, and service quality reviews. Education as required by licensure Licensure /Certification:
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiologic Technology (RT) required Registration in at least one imaging subspecialty preferred, including: CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS), Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT), or DEXA If not currently subspecialty certified, must obtain registration in the assigned modality within one (1) year, with interim oversight provided by the Imaging Manager until completion of Competency-Based Orientation (CBO) MRSO (Magnetic Resonance Safety Officer) certification through the American Board of Magnetic Resonance Safety required About Boulder Community Health Boulder Community Health (BCH) is a not-for-profit healthcare organization based in Boulder, Colorado, serving the Boulder County community.
