Summary Boulder Medical Center (BMC) is seeking an On-Call PRN X-ray Technician to join our healthcare team! Job Duties:

Assists in overseeing physical maintenance of the Radiology department including equipment. Responsible for keeping current on the use of the computer systems used in the BMC Radiology department. Performs the duties as a BMC X-ray Technician. Maintains effective working relationships within the Radiology department and with other BMC departments to ensure on-going communication. Consistently checks each morning that QC tests have been run on the appropriate x-ray system(s) and processors. Assists in maintaining adequate stock of supplies by coordinating with the BMC purchasing department and the departmental site-manager.

Experience and Skills:

Good judgement on supply needs/stocking. Equipment maintenance needs. Good Radiographic skills. Good understanding of ICD-9 coding and billing procedures.

Education:

Graduate of Accredited School of Radiologic Technologists. Registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

Previous Experience:

1+ years Radiology Technologist experience Experience in Orthopedics and/or Pediatrics Equipment Maintenance Ordering and maintaining supplies The starting hourly pay range for this position is commensurate with experience: $30.45 - $39.59/hour This position will be posted for a minimum of three days, subsequently until filled.
