Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Contract Advance your imaging career with an opportunity specializing in MRI technology. This position is designed for professionals with expertise in MRI procedures and technology, delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging for patient care in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Qualifications:
Registered MRI Technologist (ARRT MR certification required) Proven experience operating MRI equipment and performing MRI scans In-depth knowledge of safety protocols related to magnetic resonance imaging Ability to position and communicate effectively with patients of all ages Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate imaging and documentation Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification Experience with PACS systems and electronic medical records preferred
Main Responsibilities:
Perform MRI examinations in accordance with physician orders and standard procedures Prepare patients for scanning, explaining procedures and ensuring a safe, comfortable experience Operate and maintain imaging equipment, adhering to all safety and quality standards Collaborate with radiologists and other clinical staff to provide timely, precise imaging results Accurately document procedures, patient information, and findings into medical records systems Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with infection prevention protocols This contract assignment offers the chance to work with cutting-edge MRI technology while making a positive impact on patient outcomes.
