Ultrasound Tech | Grand Junction, Colorado

Degree in Radiologic Technology, American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Ultrasound certification, and minimum 1+ years Imaging experience required. A healthcare facility in Grand Junction, Colorado is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join their Women's Health Clinic on a contract basis. This full-time role offers predictable daytime hours, no nights or weekends, and the opportunity to contribute to high-quality patient care in a specialized women's health setting.

Monday-Thursday:

8:30 AM - 5:00

PM Friday:

8:30 AM - 3:00 PM 26-week assignment

Key Responsibilities:

Perform diverse ultrasound examinations aligned with provider orders and clinical guidelines Ensure ultrasound equipment is properly calibrated and operational before each use Maintain cleanliness and safety of clinical areas, including disinfecting equipment and restocking supplies Communicate imaging results to referring providers promptly and accurately Manage follow-up for STAT results, call reports, and patients awaiting diagnostic information Transfer images and documentation efficiently for after-hours cases to Virtual Radiology Support clinic workflow while providing exceptional patient care and service

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum 2 years of ultrasound experience preferred Registration with ARDMS in one or more specialties such as General, OB/GYN, or Vascular Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Working in Grand Junction offers a balance of scenic outdoor activities and a welcoming community atmosphere.
