Job Summary:

Operate a combination of the following magnetic resonance (MRI), computed tomography (CT), Mammography and X-ray imaging equipment to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating a variety of medical conditions. Select appropriate imaging techniques, operate imaging consoles and peripheral hardware, and ensure high-quality image capture. Enter and monitor patient data, transfer and store images, and prepare film transparencies using an automatic processor. Serve as a key point of contact for patients throughout the imaging process, ensuring comfort and clear communication. Maintain and enforce all patient safety protocols related to imaging procedures. Actively participate in committees and initiatives including Performance Improvement, Radiation Safety, Patient and Physician Education, Continuous Quality Improvement, and Employee Satisfaction. Perform other imaging-related tasks and duties as assigned.

Skill/Education Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology. ARRT registration in Radiography is required.

Any of the following:

ARRT (CT), ARRT (M), ARRT (MR), or registry eligible in one of these areas. Current American Heart Association certification required within 3 months of hire and must be maintained throughout employment. A patient-centered professional with strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safety and quality care.
