1 Description American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 2 years of CT experience for a night shift contract in an acute care hospital radiology department using Epic and Synapse PACS. Details Acute care hospital setting within the Radiology - CT (Computed Tomography) department Department has 2 CT scanners Routine CT imaging performed including head, chest, abdomen/pelvis, CTA head, CTA chest, and calcium scoring studies Average of 30-40 scans per day GE CT scanners in use; EMR is Epic Radiant and PACS is Synapse IV placement is required No floating to other areas Night shift position with variable shift lengths of 8, 10, or 12 hours; schedule includes 5:30 PM-5:30 AM Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 PM-6:00 AM Monday, and 6:00 PM-12:00 AM Tuesday Weekend and holiday coverage required No on-call or standby requirement 13-week contract Requirements Minimum of 2 years of CT experience required Active ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications required; pending certifications are not accepted Current BLS (AHA) certification required Active state or compact (NLC) license required if applicable; pending licenses will not be accepted Candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility; a driver's license is required for consideration to verify permanent address 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, both must include dates of employment and eligibility for rehire Copy of driver's license required for consideration Additional Information Perform routine and advanced CT imaging studies including CTA and calcium scoring, with IV contrast administration Radiologist is on-site; no RRAs used in the department In-house orientation is provided; candidates must be in state for the week of orientation even if initial modules are remote Travelers are responsible for providing their own radiation dosimetry badge (rad badge), as the facility does not supply one Black scrubs required Candidates must not have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facility within the past year; candidates who worked PRN through outside firms will be considered Travelers are expected to float within the regional zone they are hired into and must secure housing that allows them to meet this requirement
