Job Description

Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Take your skills as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to an impactful role supporting students in an educational environment near Danbury, CT. As a valued RBT, you will play a vital part in helping students achieve their behavioral and academic goals through consistent, evidence-based interventions. This contract assignment allows you to immerse yourself in a collaborative school setting and make a meaningful difference each day.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
Active Registered Behavior Technician(RBT) certification is required Previous experience working with children or students, preferably in a school or related setting Solid understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies and practices Ability to follow Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and work closely with Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families Patience, empathy, and adaptability in working with diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
Implement individualized ABA interventions under the supervision of a BCBA Collect and maintain accurate behavioral data and session notes Support students in achieving behavioral objectives in classroom and school environments Reinforce positive behaviors and provide guidance to redirect challenging behaviors Communicate ongoing progress to supervising clinicians and participate in team meetings Foster a supportive, respectful, and inclusive atmosphere for all students This assignment offers a dynamic contract opportunity in an engaging school-based setting, where your expertise will truly shine.
