Job Description

Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Take the next step in your career by supporting students in an elementary school setting as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). This contract role is perfectly suited to professionals passionate about making a positive impact for children with behavioral challenges. In this 1:1 position, you'll work directly with a student, providing dedicated assistance and evidence-based interventions to support their growth and success throughout the school day.
Key Qualifications and Requirements:
Current and active RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) license required Previous experience working with children, especially at the elementary school level, is strongly preferred Ability to implement behavioral strategies and individualized intervention plans Adept at maintaining detailed records and communicating effectively with school staff and families Patient, compassionate demeanor, with a commitment to helping students thrive Excellent organizational and time management skills Must be able to work full-time hours during the school week
Core Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one behavioral support to a student facing behavioral challenges Collaborate with teachers, school personnel, and families to implement effective interventions Track progress, collect data, and help adapt strategies as needed Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment Provide regular feedback and updates to the educational team and family Follow all ethical standards and school policies for behavioral intervention Enjoy a role where your expertise is valued and your efforts create real change.
