About the
Role:
As aCBRE HVAC
Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining and optimizing the mechanical and electrical systems that support commercial HVAC operations across a large corporate office campus in Farmington, CT. Your work directly contributes to building performance, safety, and occupant comfort. This position is part of CBRE's Engineering & Technical Services function, which focuses on delivering high-quality support, preventive maintenance, and repair services for building systems and equipment.Other Job Titles:

Install, repair, adjust, and maintain small electric or pneumatic control systems used for building. This includes heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems and equipment. Conduct ongoing maintenance on building HVAC equipment to ensure proper operation of equipment and compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and work safety. Service Commercial HVAC Equipment, (Roof-Top Units, Boilers, VAV) Troubleshoot equipment failures and determine the best course of action for equipment modifications. Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion. Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail. Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.What You'll Need:
High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. S2 License required and Valid driver's license required. EPA Universal Certificate Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more. Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work. Communication skills to exchange straightforward information. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset. The minimum salary for the position is or $35.00 per hour and the maximum salary for the position is $52.00 per hour.
