Job Description

Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a Registered Behavior Technician in a dynamic school environment near Hartford, CT. This contract role offers the opportunity to collaborate with dedicated education professionals, contribute to the success of students with diverse needs, and expand your expertise in applied behavior analysis.
Desired Qualifications:
Hold current RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) certification Experience in educational or pediatric settings is preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to implement behavior intervention plans under supervision of a BCBA Demonstrated patience, empathy, and commitment to student growth
Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with students in one-on-one or small group settings to deliver behavioral intervention services Collect accurate data and monitor students' progress as outlined in behavior intervention plans Collaborate with teachers, BCBAs, and school staff on treatment goals and behavior strategies Support positive social, emotional, and academic development for students with behavioral needs Maintain documentation in accordance with ethical and professional standards Participate in staff meetings, ongoing training, and professional development opportunities
