Job Description

WCS Healthcare is proud to partner with a highly regarded orthopedic medical group in Meriden, CT, to find a skilled and reliable Full-Time X-Ray Technician. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative clinical team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced orthopedic setting. The X-Ray Technician will perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort. This role requires close collaboration with physicians and physician assistants to support accurate diagnosis and treatment.

  • 2:00 PM Needs to work 1 Holiday per year
  • 10am-2pm
  • 8 hours of Regular pay and 4 hours of OT pay Prepare patients for radiological procedures and perform X-rays according to established imaging protocols Obtain high-quality diagnostic radiographs as requested by physicians and physician assistants Ensure the safety of patients and staff by adhering to radiation safety protocols and ALARA standards Collaborate closely with providers to follow instructions and support patient care Operate CR X-ray equipment and assist with C-Arm procedures as needed Monitor and maintain imaging equipment to ensure compliance with regulations; report any issues promptly Maintain cleanliness and organization of the X-ray room and ensure adequate supply levels Assist with onboarding and training of new staff and support clinical student rotations
Job Requirements:
Valid Radiologic Technologist certification (ARRT preferred) Connecticut State Radiography License (or eligibility) Prior experience in orthopedic or outpatient settings preferred Strong knowledge of radiation safety standards and imaging protocols Experience with C-Arm and CR equipment a plus Excellent communication and patient care skills
