Job Description

Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Make a difference every day by supporting students at the elementary level as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). You'll work 1:1 with a student who faces behavioral challenges, providing encouragement and guidance that can change the course of a young learner's academic and social journey. This full-time contract position places you in a positive school environment near New Milford, CT, where your expertise and compassion will have a direct impact. What you'll need to succeed: An active and current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) license Experience working with school-aged children, ideally in an elementary school setting Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for helping students overcome behavioral and academic challenges Attention to detail with the ability to collect data and consistently implement individualized treatment plans Your responsibilities will include: Providing direct, 1:1 support to an elementary student with behavioral needs Implementing behavioral intervention strategies as outlined in the student's treatment plan Collaborating with teachers and other school professionals to adapt interventions and monitor student progress Maintaining detailed session notes and data to track outcomes and inform ongoing strategies Supporting a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment for all students This opportunity offers competitive compensation of $25-$29 per hour, depending on experience.
