1 Description American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in a CT Scan department at an acute care hospital in Atlantis, FL, requiring ARRT (CT) certification and a minimum of 2 years of experience. Details CT Scan department within a 472-bed acute care medical/surgical facility specializing in cardiovascular care, neuroscience, oncology, orthopedics, bariatrics, and women's services Department staffed with radiologists, radiology techs, ultrasound techs, MRI techs, and CT techs totaling approximately 14 staff members Patient ratio of 1:1 or 1:2 depending on patient stability Procedures include CT scans, MRI, body scans, and X-rays All GE equipment in use, including MRI units, scanners, cameras, X-ray, and fluoroscopy EMR system is Meditech; GE and Meditech experience strongly preferred Thursday through Saturday, 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM (12-hour day shifts) On-call required approximately 4-6 shifts per month on off days 13-week contract Requirements Minimum of 2 years of CT Tech experience, with active experience within the last 6 months ARRT (CT) certification required BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start) Florida State DOH license required if applicable Experience with GE equipment and Meditech EMR strongly preferred Strong communication, medical, and anatomical knowledge Ability to multi-task and collaborate with a variety of physicians, radiologists, and patients Two professional references required for this position SSN and DOB required for consideration No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Additional Information Performs CT scanning and imaging procedures to create detailed images of bones, organs, and tissues for diagnostic assessment Teaching facility recognized among the best in the nation Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates will not be considered Black scrubs required; must be provided by the candidate
