Full-Time Join a Boutique Breast Imaging Practice Focused on Exceptional Women's Care We are seeking an experienced Lead Mammography Technologist to join our growing private breast imaging center in Boca Raton. This is an opportunity to play a key leadership role within a high-touch, patient-centered environment dedicated exclusively to women's imaging and an elevated patient experience. The ideal candidate is an experienced mammography technologist who is confident in leading day-to-day imaging operations while maintaining the highest standards of quality, compliance, and patient care. Position Summary The Lead Mammography Technologist will oversee daily mammography operations, ensure regulatory compliance, support quality initiatives, and serve as the primary resource for mammography workflow and technical excellence. This role requires strong experience with quality control (QC), accreditation readiness, and inspection management. Schedule- Monday
Thursday:
8:00 AM- 4:30 PM
Friday:
8:00 AM- 12:00 PM Responsibilities
- Perform screening and diagnostic mammography examinations following established protocols
- Lead daily operations of the mammography department and support scheduling efficiency and patient flow
- Maintain and oversee all MQSA, ACR, and state regulatory compliance requirements
- Manage and complete daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly QC testing and documentation
- Prepare for and coordinate MQSA inspections, accreditation submissions, and regulatory audits
- Maintain organized records for QC logs, equipment service, corrective actions, and compliance documentation
- Monitor image quality and collaborate with interpreting radiologists to support clinical excellence
- Assist with development and implementation of department policies and workflows
- Train, mentor, and support mammography staff and maintain competency standards
- Coordinate equipment service calls and preventative maintenance
- Deliver an exceptional patient experience through compassionate, boutique-level care Qualifications
- Current ARRT (R) and ARRT (M) certification required
- Current Florida license in Radiologic Technology required
- Minimum 3-5 years of mammography experience required
- Previous lead, supervisory, or senior technologist experience preferred
- Demonstrated experience with: o Mammography QC programs and documentation o MQSA inspections o Accreditation and compliance preparation o Digital mammography systems and PACS workflow
- Experience with breast ultrasound workflow is a plus
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
