We are seeking a licensed Interventional Radiology Technologist Tech to fill our PT/FT or Per Diem position. Key Responsibilities Procedure Assistance:
Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and supplies for vascular and endovascular interventions. Assist the interventional radiologist/vascular surgeon during procedures, including catheter and guidewire handling. Operate imaging equipment (C-arm, ultrasound) under physician direction. Maintain sterile field and adhere to strict infection control protocols.
Technical & Operational Duties:
Calibrate and maintain angiographic and endovascular equipment. Document procedural details in EMR accurately and in compliance with regulations. Manage inventory of devices, catheters, and supplies.
Qualifications Required:
Certified Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) OR equivalent endovascular procedural experience. Current BLS and ACLS 1+ years of experience in interventional radiology, cardiac cath lab, or vascular lab. Proficiency in sterile technique and radiation safety.
Preferred:
Experience in an OBL or ASC setting. Familiarity with peripheral vascular, embolization, and atherectomy procedures. Strong patient communication skills. We look forward to speaking with you!
